Snow (or How Not To Tell A Joke)

Adam Foster in a fur trapper hat against projected blue snow, from Snow by Susan Kempster

“…and now we’re going to do a disappearing act!”

Snow is a duet that merges movement, text, and rubbish magic tricks into a piece about narcissism and anonymity.

Fragments of stories emerge; that of a failed entertainer, a bright young thing who amounts to very little or a painter who never did anything more than make her own Christmas cards.

The work is the second collaboration between playwright Adam Foster and choreographer Susan Kempster, “two artists to keep an eye on” (Liam Jarvis, Analogue Theatre).
