Las gallinas corren como locas

Las gallinas corren como locas by Susan Kempster

“Las Gallinas Corren Como Locas” won the first prize in the 16th Madrid choreographic competition in November 2002.

“Las Gallinas Corren Como Locas” (“Like Headless Chickens”) is about an ideal or dream world contrasted against the irritability and anger of our modern times.

Through short scenes we pass through different moments, moments of solitude, of imaginary peace, of sickly sweet romance that of course can’t be real and aggressive behavior that becomes ridiculous when seen in its true light.
